Fresh Weekly, individualized & Customized
Fresh weekly engaging programs are customised and cater specifically to the individual according to their CFS scores, needs and abilities within a communal setting. Elements of gamification are added to ensure that things don’t become monotonous and the elderly effectively (re)learn new skills

Evidence Informed
We are pioneers of elderly functional fitness in Singapore with 20 years of experience and expert consultation. Our program uses functional movements which are safe, necessary and essential to improve the quality of life for all. We go by what works, as such, there'll be assessments conducted periodically and tweaks made to ensure (and show) effectiveness.

Purposeful Community
Our programs are set in a communal setting and through it, we create opportunities for interaction. Our programs are also social in nature which require communication and at times, gamification of the program itself.

Volunteerism & Giving Back
Through our own events, we provide opportunities for volunteerism and giving back through the use of their fitness. In the long term, we also provide opportunities for seniors to be 'Fitness Champions' and volunteer for the program.
Our Methods
How does it work?
The platform is operated by community staff or 'fitness champion'.
The application can be used in groups of up to 5, or in larger groups (preferably with the same Clinically Frailty Score)
Screening
A movement assessment and questionnaire is done (and periodically retested) to evaluate beneficiaries’ fall risk, mobility, ADL level and Clinical Frailty score.
Prescription
Through the prior screening, the backend AI accords individual movements and exercises uniquely to each person based on their results. Resulting in close to 600 variations.
Execution
The center's staff or fitness champion is trained by Active Silvers and they assist beneficiaries in navigating given programs via the platform, which are social in nature

What equipment or items do I need to start?You will need a few items 1) A projector or TV for you to project on 2) A computer system to link the tv or projector too 3) Connection cable for both of the above items 4) No equipment is needed but good to have, substitutes can easily be used, such as water bottles and more. For a start, we can do it without equipment 5) A chair is highly needed and best to have as we start from seated. 6) If equipment is needed and desired, we do provide options for it.

How effective are the programs?The workouts are carefully programmed to ensure careful scaling and progression options to maximise the workout stimulus. Workouts are also programmed to ensure gradual introduction and progression phases to get users accustomed to the program.

Will the movements be too advanced or dangerous?No, the movements have been carefully selected to ensure that they are not too complicated or advanced, making use of day to day movements involving equipment that can be easily found in our daily lives.

It looks funny on my phone or ipad.The solution is best seen and used on a laptop and browser to be used is google chrome. It is highly advised not to use it on mobile and ipad.

Why should the elders perform these exercises?Frequent exercise in one’s older years has been proven to be vital in improving cognitive and motor functions, with other advantages including improved sleep and lower risk of contracting diseases. We also use functional movement which has been proven to prevent decreptitude, increase longevity, independence, functionality and overall quality of life.

What if the users have previous injury or ailment?Caregivers or the users themselves can update it into the application and the service will then filter the movements and scaling options that are suitable for the users based on their movement limitations or ability levels.

How can the elderly benefit?Elderly users are provided with a safe and progressive workout plan that is carefully-curated with their different ability levels in mind. By working out and moving about more frequently, they can expect improved motor function and a higher quality of life.

How can the AAC benefit?Everything is provided by the service and usage of the interface is very simple and user-friendly. Minimal fitness knowledge is required by caregivers as they will be carefully guided and instructed on how to safely conduct workout sessions for the users by the service.

How often should the centre run the workout?For a start, 2-3 workouts spaced out evenly throughout the week would be a good benchmark. Thereafter, the frequency can slowly be increased based on how the users feel as they get more accustomed to the workouts.

Can my AAC run the program even without being trained?Yes. The caregivers will be briefed and guided throughout the whole process and will have to simply follow the instructions as provided on the platform when conducting workouts for the elderly.
